Jack & Coke vs. Rum & Coke: Who Wins?

I pose this question: do you drink rum and Coke or Jack and Coke? One offers a smoother highball (rum) that is sweet, well balanced and flavorful. The other offers a sweeter, thicker texture that warms you up (Jack and Coke) and goes down smooth. Heck they both taste great together. But, forever and a day I have heard people go one way or the other. That being: I only like Jack and Coke, or I only like Rum and Coke. So which is your favorite? Even if you don’t like either…if you had to pick, which one would it be? To Drink Jack or Rum and Coke? I personally favor the rum and Coke combination even though I like the taste of the Jack and Coke mixed better together. Two reasons here. Firstly, whiskey makes me a mean old angry person, whereas rum makes me happy. Secondly, whiskey tends to give me headaches, mean old headaches. Needless to say, I am a rum and Coke kind of guy!
