Cascading Shot Glasses Trick Things You will need Three Shot Glasses Knife or two straws (depending upon shot glass weight) Setting up the trick: Place a shot glass on the bar and balance the two straws, or the knife across the top of the shot glass. Then fill up the other two shot glasses with water or alcohol (use water to practice first until you have mastered this trick) and balance these filled shot glasses on the top of the straws or the knife that is resting on the shot glass that you have already set up. Assure that the glasses are slightly off center from each other when you are balancing them, and that no fluids are leaking out from them. The trick is to get the top glasses to empty into the bottom glass without touching or lifting the glass. How to Pull it off: Simply blow some air into the cracks between the top two glasses. If you need to, you can use a straw. And, when you do this it will cause the water to drop and our from the top shot glass directly into the bottom shot glass, which will leave the top glass empty.
