Businesses and participants disappointed, but thousands of runners met in Central Park to run a marathon.
Though no one would dare say a negative word about those affected in New York City by the Hurricane Sandy, many runners and regular folk alike are disappointed by the cancellation of the ING NYC Marathon. This marathon is one of the few major marathons held per year, and many business and runners are dependent on it for their livelihood.
