John Wayne Gacy, perhaps one of the most well-known serial killers in the United States, began his life in Chicago, Illinois. His childhood was not a good one. He was overweight, anti-social and had an alcoholic father that abused him, his mother and his two sisters both physically and mentally. At age 9, Gacy was molested by a family friend. Eventually, he started having seizures and was forced to spend quite a bit of time in the hospital.
