The Quebec Winter Carnival

Two weeks of celebrating winter, Canadian style.

The Quebec Winter Carnival, or Carnaval de Quebec, has a history that goes back as far as 1894.  It was held off-and-on for many decades, finally becoming a mainstay of the city in 1955.  Since then, its popularity has grown until it took its place as the largest winter carnival in the world, bringing in people from all over to experience the many delights and entertainments of this lively Canadian celebration.
