It’s a fact of being a human being that everyone must grow old. The body breaks down as time takes its toll and eventually you kick the bucket (a horrible fact I discussed in an early post). But it upsets me that people have decided that they know the best way to ride this roller coaster called “life” and insist on telling me to “grow up” or “start acting my age.” As a man pushing 40, I feel that I am perfectly justified in acting as juvenile or childish as I like. I have earned it. So as along as breath remains in my body, I will continue to shun these naysayers and remain, at heart, a child.
