Every year, more than 100,000 people gather at the Naeba Ski Resort in Japan to experience one of Japan’s greatest musical events, the Fuji Rock Festival. This three-day event takes place each year in July and has the distinction of being the largest outdoor music festival in the country. The first event took place in 1997 at Mount Fuji, thus earning the name it holds today, though in 1999 it switched venues to Naeba so that it would have enough room for all the people attending.
