Clinton News and Notes
As the nation ramps up for all the political excitement brought about by the Democratic National Convention this week, a new poll by the Pew Research Center finds most Americans are more interested in watching Bill Clinton’s speech Wednesday night than they were in Mitt Romney’s RNC speech.
Not surprising. Clinton is a brilliant speaker who is highly effective in communicating to large audiences in a personal way. And, he also engages listeners by breaking complex subjects down, conveying his own keen interest in what he is saying, and adding that blue-eyed sparkle we see whenever he’s at his finest on the dais doesn’t hurt either.
In July, Bill Clinton visited his namesake, 14-year-old Bill Clinton, in Uganda during his travels in Africa. Ugandan Bill Clinton’s mother named her son after the President in hopes of inspiring her child to do great things with his life. She met the President back in 1998 when she gave her baby to Clinton to hold. Reports say Clinton promised her he would fund his namesake’s education as he grows up.
BC Talk hopes the best for Bill Clinton Kaligani (his full name,) and that he works hard at his studies and makes good use of his mother’s efforts and BC’s interest.
