Germany's government trying to find a balance of religious recognition.
Migrating to a new land is a trying experience. Cultural differences can lead to discrimination from the dominant population and when you don’t happen to be of the prevailing religion, this discrimination is usually much worse. Muslims in Germany have been dealing with these problems for years as they come to the country to start new lives for themselves, often fleeing violent conflict in their home countries. Germany, like most Western countries, is home to far-right movements that attempt to resist any Muslim influence on what they see as their Christian culture. Luckily, the city of Hamburg has chosen to resist this opinion of hatred and now makes progressive moves to welcome Muslims into their city.
