Four days celebrating the dance traditions of Japan
If you are a lover of Japanese culture, the Tokushima Awa Odori, or Awa Dance Festival, is one event that you should not miss. It is a traditional folk dance festival that features people in traditional costumes performing amazing dances both in processions along the streets and on stages at night. It is part of the larger Obon festival and takes place each year in August, from the 12th to the 15th.
