Not cool, Paul Frank

And anyone else who exploits people, for that matter.

You don’t often see people adding freckle-faced, red-haired girls on their products (with the exception of Wendy’s, I guess). Nor have I ever heard of the mighty White Guys as a sports team (shouldn’t all sports teams be animals anyway?). Yet native indigenous people are displayed on products, as sports teams, and worse all year round. Why is this?

The latest person to exploit this horrible theme is Paul Frank, unfortunately. I say that because my daughter loves Paul Frank stuff—who doesn’t?—and I really don’t want to purchase anything that he’s designing that uses a very real, very much still in existence (whether some would like to think so or not) ethnicity as his “inspiration” with war paint and other stereotypes.
