If you're heading to New Orleans this month, you're in luck: It's Halloween, and that means America's most haunted city is dressed to the nines and ready to scare you out of your wits! Okay, NOLA may or may not be the *most* haunted U.S. city, but it's certainly among them right? I can tell you from personal experience that it can be one of the creepiest places on earth, and also the most fun.
One thing I'd certainly recommend if you're visiting the Crescent City in the next few weeks is a cemetery tour. New Orleans is truly a city of the dead -- they literally bury their dead above ground, in elaborate, stunningly gorgeous cemeteries. It's a sight to see, and shouldn't be missed.
