In the province of Lobpuri, Thailand, the Pra Prang Sam temple plays host to one of the most unique and interesting holidays in the Far East - the Monkey Buffet Festival. It is held each year on the last Sunday of November, this year falling on the 25th. This region happens to be home to more than 2000 macaque monkeys, the vast majority of which show up to the grand feast that is held in their honor.
