I wanted to talk about some inspiring stories in this post that will make you view Harvard for the altruistic college that it can actually sometimes be. This will be a change from my posts about its alum being prevalent on Wall Street and also for the bad press that Harvard has been getting lately with even Mitt Romney bashing (kind of) his alma mater in an attempt to question President Obama’s administration.
The first of the two stories I am going to talk about today (both deal with acceptances to Harvard College) is about a very fine lad named Akandwahano Dominic. He went from living in a mud hut in a Ugandan village where he sometimes went on an empty stomach to school to arguably the finest university in the planet that is Harvard University.
