With so many super hero films being made and no apparent plans to stop in the near future, it’s getting more and more important that studios get the job done right. A fail in something as essential as choice of writer or director can kill a film outright. A fail in casting can have the sometimes worse effect of a slow and painful death, costing the studios big money following a large investment. In recent news (and as evidenced by the picture I am using to head this post) Vin Diesel is rumored to be one choice for the character of Vision, a possible addition to the next Avengers film. This rumor set the nerd in me into rage mode and prompted this rant on why Hollywood needs to start thinking a little more clearly about who it puts in their movies.
