It's a long overdue rant, and one that has been alive and well on the web for some time now; What the hell is wrong with syfy?!” Granted I've have been asking this since they buried MST3K. Don't get me wrong there are still a few shows I do enjoy on. Sadly however most of them are not really that sci-fi. Off the top of my head, I can only name a few running shows: Lost Girl, Eureka , Being Human, Merlin, Haven, Warehouse 13, and Sanctuary. Of those shows, how many are really sci-fi? Most are actually urban fantasy.
