Production companies today often spend millions and millions of dollars to create the super-special effect film extravaganzas that audiences can enjoy at their local theaters all year long. Sometime millions are spent on the actors alone - the overpaid louts. But nothing is worse than when you go to see a movie and the final cut is filled with editing errors.
Many people don’t notice a lot of these problems. Little anachronisms such as a person wearing a watch in the middle of the Roman era are one of these issues. Another is when they cut cameras and a person in the scene goes from looking at someone to looking down at the floor or staring out a window. There are so many little things which, while they can’t always be prevented during the time of the movie’s shooting, are supposed to be cleaned up when the film goes to edit.
