I had the extreme misfortune to be sitting in the doctor’s waiting room when they decided to play Battleship to keep their patients entertained. At first I was a little enthusiastic. I had missed in the theater (quite on purpose, actually) but thought that it might be at least a little entertaining and perhaps worth a casual watch if for nothing more than the aliens and explosions. As it turns out, even these weren’t enough to prevent the pain that this two hour piece of rubbish induced in my nervous system.
