Women on Waves is a women’s health organization that is making waves in many countries of the world. Their modus operandi consists of taking a yacht from port to port and offering abortions to women who might not otherwise have access to them. Since they remain in international waters, they can circumvent the laws that exist within these countries, though often this is not enough for them to carry out their mission.
