It's like I told FOX News, when I was running for vice president I had no idea what was going on behind the scenes or in headquarters. I was basically just the football that they were carrying around the field.
I mean, does the football know that it is the football? Does it know why Dude A just threw it to Dude B? No. The football probably has no idea what's going on either. But it is the most important part of the game. It just has to, you know, let go and trust its handlers. I was the same way. The McCain staff pretty much took care of everything. I didn't bother paying attention. They had people to do that for me.
I'll tell you what is not complicated, though: declaring Barack Obama the loser in the debates. I didn't really watch, but I know he lost. I mean, I sort of watched. It was on TV. I was just busy catching up with some texting, you know how it is. Those guys just drone on and on about all kinds of policy stuff and whatever. I get bored.
