A beer drinking tradition, second only to Oktoberfest.
Twice each year, the city of Stuttgart celebrates one of its oldest beer drinking traditions - Cannstatter Volksfest, known by most as the Stuttgart Beer Festival. The larger of these two events takes place from late September to mid-October while another, smaller version of the festival happens in spring. The main event is spread out over two weeks and features beer, carnival rides and parades. It’s an atmosphere that’s not just for beer drinkers, but can be entertaining for the entire family.
