I admit it. I love ask blogs. Hell there was already an ask Queen Chrysalis page a good day after the last season finale (in fact there's two that I know of here and here). Now I'm not sure when the ask blog thing in general started but so far it's been rather fun to see fan interpretations of and communications of main characters.
With MLP it got even more twisted as fans made their OC, and twisted main characters into darker and edgier versions of themselves. Some don't like such a direction. Some like I enjoy placing such 'cute' things into more adult situations. Some OCs decided to follow this trend. Over time these darker ponies began to talk to each other creating a larger community of ponies talking and interacting with each other.
