See, I'm all for unlikely mash ups. Mix a current day cartoon with death metal, why not? A children's show with indie bands as the soundtrack? Sure! Mash ups can be pulled off beautifully. They also can show considerable skill on the end of the creator(s). One such mash up involves not just two separate things, but a mishmash of all things pop culture – while painted in various art styles.
