A continuing policy of opening up or desperate for economic help?
Kim Jong-un and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea continue to improve their international relations using a new policy of initiating talks with the various countries of the world. This time around, it’s Japan that they’re speaking with. This is a huge step forward for the hermit kingdom, being as how talks with Japan have been broken off for more than four years now. This new start occurred just two days ago at the Japanese embassy in China - neutral ground for both countries.
