Not a Johnny Depp fan? Opt for 'People Like Us' instead.
Tim Burton's new movie, Frankenweenie, is coming out in theaters this week, but his last film, Dark Shadows, is finally getting a DVD and Blu-ray release today. Yes, this is a movie remake of the classic, totally campy 1960s soap opera Dark Shadows, and it's actually pretty decent. I wouldn't rank this among the best movies of 2012 by any stretch, but it's entertaining enough.
If Dark Shadows doesn't sound like your kind of film, you have another option: The drama People Like Us, starring Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks, is also new on DVD this week.
