A Self Healing Car?

Minor scratches and surface damage are part of normal wear and tear on a vehicle,  and can be caused by anything from branches to car washes to carelessness.  While most of these abrasions are barely noticable, over time they add to the overall aging of a car, causing the finish to look dull and tired.  Ironically, the standard approach to keeping your car's finish looking in top condition is a good wash, polish and buff but it is just this kind of activity that can cause fine, hair line scratches in the surface. Now, thanks to some clever scientists over at Inifiti there is now a way to repair these without even lifting a finger.  In fact, the car will actually heal it's own abrasions.   A clear resin coating applied to the surface softens in daylight to fill small scrapes and scratches.  This invention will be a boon to anyone living in a coastal or desert area where their car is constantly being bombarded by sand.  The protective nature of this chemical coating also keeps that new-car finish bright,  and almost eliminates the fine webs of scratches caused by washing.  The company claims that their SUV
