Sitting down for game night may not be at the top of your list if you have younger kids at home. However, there is a huge selection of some really great games that are made for younger kids to play. They aren't very complicated to put together or clean up. The instructions are short winded and easy to pick up on for almost all kids once mom and dad have had a quick read through. Here are some games that you might want to check out for your little one.
Of course we all know the classic
Candyland. Virtually everyone knows how to play this game and might even already own it. What caught my attention is that not only do they still sell the classic version of the game, but now they also have a Candyland made just for young toddlers. It's bright and the pieces are very large so choking hazards are not an issue with the game. The play is very simple and toddlers catch on pretty quickly. The other thing about Candyland is that even my daughter stays interested in it because they have come out with different themes of Candyland.
