Bath time can be an incredibly fun time with your toddler, filled with bubbles and giggles. It is normally just towards the end when it all goes a bit pear shaped. And by pear shaped, I mean anything from sulking to screaming fits. Yup, it is the dreaded rinse. No matter how hard you try to avoid that soap-in-the-eyes sting, trying to rinse shampoo off of the head of a squirming toddler can be tantamount to a form of aerobic Yoga.
Even after the switch to a certain 'no tears' formula, my child had decided he was already traumatized enough to start crying and splashing as soon as he saw the big plastic water jug coming out from its hiding place behind the toilet. There is nothing my strong minded child likes more than a good tantrum, and the added benefit of being able to splash Mom with soapy water just seems to put him on a mission.
