A Healthy Reason to be Outside

A lot of people do not spend enough time outside and for that reason, they are lacking in Vitamin D.  So if you are looking for an excuse to go outside more and ignore your indoor duties, you can just stay that you need more Vitamin D and head outside.

If you are wondering why you need Vitamin D, you require this vitamin to help your body to absorb calcium and phosphorous which work to help with the maintenance of healthy bones.  Another benefit is that it helps to assist with regulating the immune system.  Vitamin D  has also been linked to helping the brain to continue to work well as you get older as well as helping a person to maintain a healthy weight.    Some people also find that they have less problems with asthma attacks as well as being less likely to end up in the hospital from an asthma attack.

To benefit the most, you need to spend at least fifteen minutes outside at least twice a week.  You will need to make sure that your face, arms, hands and back.  Do not use sunscreen when you are heading outside or you will not reap any benefits from being outside.
