How Limbaugh skews climate change

Funny how he never brings up "global warming" during summer.

Rush Limbaugh would have his listeners believe a lot of things that simply are not true. First and foremost, of course, he insists on calling it either the "climate change debate" (there is no debate; it is a measurable, scientific fact) or "global warming" (it's not about warming, it's about more energy being put into the system, causing wilder swings in weather).

But best of all, if you keep an eye on the man, it's funny how he never talks about the issue in summer. All winter long Rush Limbaugh will chortle and scoff about "global warming" in the context of massive snow storms and record cold temperatures. "What happened to global warming?" Rush will ask, deliberately ignoring the fact that climate change theory accounts for freakishly cold winters just fine.

Surprisingly (for Rush Limbaugh), he keeps his mouth shut all summer long. America is experiencing one of the worst summers in recorded history; the hottest, driest, most-on-fire, corn-crop-killingest summer of them all. And what does Rush have to say about it? Nothing. Not a peep.
