I've never been a fan of Thanksgiving. Sure the “idea” was not lost on me to any great extent, but the problem is that I was raised knowing not only the American history and leaving it there. No, I was raised with the UK history as well, never content for half histories. And to be honest? The whole pilgrim thing?
