Yellow Sea site of continued conflict between North and South Korea

DPRK Fishing boats can’t seem to figure out where the international water boundary lies

In yet another series of conflicts between the two halves of Korea, South Korean naval boats have been chasing away DPRK fishing boats that happen to cross the boundary that divides the two countries’ Yellow Sea territory.  This dispute over where the line is drawn in the Yellow Sea has been going on for some time, each side having their own set of maps.  The demarcation line was established by the United Nations following the Korean War and the North has never been happy with their decision.
