Re: 91 explorer
I recently purchased a 91 Ford Explorer 4WD 5 sp and I am really enjoying the vehicle but it is giving me some troubles. I recently replaced the radiator myself and had a mechanic replace the front seal to fix some major coolant leakage. About one week after this was complete, the car has developed a ticking noise that is 1) accleration dependent (ie, the ticking is faster as the car speeds up), 2) not constant, and 3) is sometimes a single tick-tick-tick and at other times is a double tick (almost overlapping). It does not stop after the engine warms up, but like I say it comes and goes.
The previous owner used Mobile 1 synthetic oil. I have a bad feeling that the mechanic I went to for the front seal repair did not use synthetic oil. Could this be the cause? What could this switch do?
Any adivse as to what to look would be most appreciated.
Definitions...
Hello. This is Matt. Thank you, Mormon, for answering my question (see "Quick Question..."). However, there is a problem with the LDS interpretation of Jehovah (LORD) and Elohim (God). First we will set our definitions. You said, “We do believe that the Lord [LORD in KJV] who speaks in the OT is Jesus Christ” (insert mine). So we will define “LORD,” in the Old Testament, as a reference to Jesus (in his premortal existence—see the LDS Bible Dictionary). You also said, “We do believe that when the word ‘God’ is used it is almost always refering to Christ and not his Father. Yes we do believe that ‘Elohim’ is The title of God the Father.” So we will define God, in most cases, as Jesus. We will also define Elohim as Heavenly Father.
Well, here is the first problem: The word God in the Old Testament, which we defined as Jesus, is actually the word Elohim, which we defined as Heavenly Father. You have defined God (Hebrew: Elohim) as Jesus and Elohim (English: God) as Heavenly Father. Since, in LDS theology, Jesus and Heavenly Father are separate beings, Elohim cannot be both Jesus and Heavenly Father, so there must be something wrong with the definitions. The definition of God (Jesus) is not always true—as you said, “almost always”—so we will throw that definition out in favor of Elohim=Heavenly Father.
The second problem is that the definition of LORD (Jesus) in conjunction with God (Elohim) in not always in accordance with LDS theology. For instance take Isaiah 43:10: “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD [Jesus], and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God [Elohim= Heavenly Father] formed, neither shall there be after me” (inserts mine). In this statement Jesus says that before him (the LORD) there was no God (Elohim=Heavenly Father). How can this be? Heavenly Father must have existed before Jesus if Jesus is Heavenly Father’s literal son, but Jesus himself says that Heavenly Father did not exist before him. There must be something wrong with the definitions. (If you object to my decision to throw out God=Jesus, then try using it in the verse; that definition doesn’t work either).
Not only do the definitions not work in Isaiah 43:10, but they don’t make sense elsewhere in the Bible. Take for instance the phrase “LORD thy God.” In the Hebrew this reads: “Yahweh Eloheykaa,” where Yahweh is LORD and Eloheykaa is the form of Elohim showing possession. This doesn’t make sense. Using our definitions, it is about the same as saying “Bill your Fred” or “Susie your Jessica.” Using names in such a way is senseless. “LORD thy God” is not a phrase written by mistake either; in the Old Testament it is used 306 times. Or how about the phrase “LORD God”? This is no better than the previous phrase. “Jesus Heavenly Father” is nonsensical as well, and this phrase is used 247 times in the Old Testament. There must be something wrong with the definitions.
The definitions we used do not make sense when applied to the Bible, and they are not definitions I have made up either. The definitions LORD=Jesus and Elohim=Heavenly Father are the definitions that the LDS church uses, but we have found that they do not quite work correctly…. There must be a problem somewhere…and the LDS church can’t be wrong, can it?

Time Lapse Between Orders
People, it's very simple to find out when you can do a refill. Just try!! If it is too soon then a screen will tell you just how many days you have to wait in all until you place a refill order. I tried yesterday to place a refill order and it said that I had to wait 24 days. So today, being the 24th day since my last order, I tried again and it went thru without a problem. So, rather than guessing, just try placing your second order. Takes the guess work out of things.
Pet rabbit
Why would my nice, calm pet rabbit suddenly bite me? It wasn't hungry,or bored...I am scared of it now.

1. Buick gage going up 2. noise at speed 80
1. I have 1995 buick regal 3.8L V engine. In August the antifreeze leaked out and the temp gage went very close to the red. I stopped in time and my amateur buddy replaced the water pump.
Now if I am in traffic jam the gage starts going up and as soon as I put the heating to high and the fan at top blast the gage goes down. OR if I do 2 or more short stops and start the gage goes up and I start the heating and it goes down. What is the solution and how much should it cost?
2. At the same tinme my buddy replaced the spark plugs. The last spark plug at the back was difficult to replace. As soon as I started the engine we could smell oil burning but it went away.
But after that whenever I go at 80KMpH (50MPH) I hear a noise like a tapping on a drum(hard to describe). Noise comes on if I try to accelerate too quick or try going up a hill. Otherwise the car is very smooth. Are the 2 problems related? What is the solution to this one and what will it cost? Can my buddy fix both of them/
