Dear Diary,

Oh dear lord. Am so tired of Liberal Media Elite claiming everything I say to Mr. Junior Senator is “condescending”. Don’t they know I’m a maverick, not some Washington good ol’ boy who patronizes their infinitely less qualified opponents? And comparing my comment to Clinton’s? Inappropriate! Resent any comparison to Bill; would never cheat on my wife with much younger woman…I mean, never again.

And those pundits should know avoiding shaking Barack’s hand was not a snub. Merely felt my frail bones in danger of being crushed by his youthfully vigor. Osteoporosis is setting in. Lord knows how I’ve maintained dashing war-hero looks.

Dear Diary,

Rudely awoken from much-needed beauty sleep by call from Bristol complaining about morning sickness. Reminded had gone through it five times, nothing is wrong with craving raw moose and baby seal meat, and to ask big, strong future-husband Levi to hunt some. Told her to stop whining, motherhood is very beautiful thing.

Jesus, teenagers these days don’t know anything.

In other news, heard Madonna told me to “get off her street.” Confused—didn’t she hear about my Wasilla Main Street? Must remember to mention Wasilla again in next speech. Anyway, was relieved to hear about lack of support from Madonna as have always thought “Like A Virgin” promoted promiscuity. Also suspect “Like a Prayer” not actually about praying.
