Dear Diary,
Barack and I are at a celebratory rally, but I had to take a break to come back and write in my diary. But this is wonderful news! After learning about Pennsylvania, I didnâ??t think I could get any happier. Until I found out that we also won Ohio! WOW!! Basically, weâ??ve won the election. Iâ??m so thrilled!!

Dear Diary,
Biased liberal elite media reporting incorrect results. Calling states with only half precincts reporting! Totally unfair. Everyone knows mavericks pull through at last moment.

Obama wins Ohio and Pennsylvania!
Tuesday, November 4th
9:15PM
Dear Diary,
Don't want to be presumptive, but...
AM WINNING!
Have gotten Ohio and Pennsylvania! Florida, Virginia, Missouri, and North Carolina really close, but feel confident that can win.
Have been told by Michelle that cannot begin drinking until after official win. Apparently would look bad to start presidency same way as George...
Hopefully yours,
Barack

University Students In Iowa May Have Trouble With Votes
In a Huffington Post article form today, It is reported that some votes from university students are being challenged due a technicality.
"We were told that Secretary of State in Iowa had made some concessions for students -- as long as they put down the [university] post office address along with a PO box, that was adequate. So the ones we challenged were those that didn't have a PO box. It's real simple, we're just going by the rules. It says so right on the challenge affidavit." Alec Schierenbeck, Vice President of the College Democrats of America and a student at Grinnell College, sees it differently. "That is a technicality that they're using to try and disenfranchise students," he said, noting that while only 50 votes have been challenged out of 700 early ballots on campus, the result is mass confusion on campus today. "At the last minute, we've had to rearrange the way we are getting out the vote on campus. I fear some voters were disuaded by the idea they're going to go to polls today, and a lawyer is going to harrangue them and shake a book at them. It spreads a lot of disinformation."
Washington Voters Prefer to Mail In Their Ballot
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com
In Washington State mailed ballots must be post-marked by Tuesday, November 4th. Most counties in Washington state have an all-mail system, except for King and Pierce counties. Polling places close at 8 pm, so you srill have time to get out and vote.
Florida: Voting problems slowly coming in
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/washingtonpostinvestigations
Voting in Florida is going fairly smoothly except for a few instances of what could be clerical errors, or voter suppression. In at least three precincts in Tampa-St. Petersburgh clerks failed to give out the second page of ballots, making voters unable to vote on all the measures. Similar problems were reported in Palm Beach County, where some machines were not accepting ballots due to the missing page.
