Farming and Weather

I am writing a paper on farming and the weather. I would like any information on types of weather applications or what kind of forecasts farmers use to help them in their agricultural businesses.

McCain delivers acceptance speech

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 11:30pm Dear Diary, Mccain has just delivered his best speech in the past two years. It was thoughtful, sincere, and I am so proud of him for being such a wonderful statesman. It was interesting that he declared the failure to be his own, and not that of the voters. He did thank Sarah Palin, which was kind of him, especially considering the bad press that she’d received from the media, and even members of her own party. And I am proud that he thanked of his campaign advisors, and all those who volunteered for him. McCain did mention me as an old friend, for which I am happy. I am proud of him for returning to be the old John – pledging to support Barack in all of his endeavors. This truly was the John McCain that I’ve known for most of my life, and I’m proud of him for such a gracious speech. Until next time, Joe

Elizabeth Dole is out!

Tuesday, November 4 11:00pm Dear Diary, I am also, proud to say that Elizabeth Dole has been taken out of the Senate. I never liked her anyway. And after that smear campaign, it’s so great to see Kay Hagan beat Dole. And she’s suing Dole. That’s one more seat in the Senate for the Democrats! Of course, we didn’t pick up the seat in Kentucky, which means that we probably won’t have a filibuster majority. Still, nice to know that the country is leaning so Democratically. Until next time, Joe

OBAMA WINS!

Tuesday, November 4 11:00pm Dear Diary, WE WON! I AM THE NEXT VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!!! Until next time, Joe, Vice President

Obama/Biden wins Pennsylvania and Ohio!

Tuesday, November 4 10:30pm Dear Diary, I am ECSTATIC! Learned a couple hours ago that Pennsylvania was a huge win with 56% of the vote. And to think that was a major hope for McCain. We certainly campaigned in that state, and I would like to think that it was my work with Hilary Clinton’s that brought about the victory. Also THRILLED to learn that we won Ohio with 52%! Not quite as much as was originally expected, but hey – we won. I’ll have to send Hillary a muffin basket or something to express my thanks. I admit, she had some great speeches in Pennsylvania. But I know those Pennsylvanians love their Biden. Still, a muffin or fruit basket would be nice. Back to watching CNN…. Until next time, Joe

Bush called Obama

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 10:35pm Dear Diary, In other news, Bush just called Barack to congratulate him on winning the presidency, Again, Barack was so kind and civil to him on the phone, but I just wanted to say, “BUSH - YOU’RE FIRED!” Probably wouldn’t be appropriate, but I can’t help but think about it. I wonder if Bush will enter the public stage again, now that we know McCain has lost. Barack is writing his acceptance speech right now. I don’t want to bother him, so I’ll get to hear it along with the rest of the nation. That will be fun – to get to react to his speech along with the rest of the nation. Yours always, Michelle

McCain just called to concede the election

Tuesday, November 4 10:05pm Dear Diary Mccain has just called Barack to concede the election. Barack was so wonderful and calm and gracious in accepting the presidency. But I am secretly screaming and cheering on the inside!! Yours always, Michelle

Barack wins Pennsylvania AND Ohio!

Tuesday, November 4 9:35pm Dear Diary, Barack and I are at a celebratory rally, but I had to take a break to come back and write in my diary. But this is wonderful news! After learning about Pennsylvania, I didn’t think I could get any happier. Until I found out that we also won Ohio! WOW!! Basically, we’ve won the election. I’m so thrilled!! Michelle Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, First Lady I must resist screaming this in public. Yours Always, Michelle
