Victoria's Dirty Secret: Formaldehyde In the Bra
So what is Victoria's secret? According to an Ohio woman who is suing the lingirie giant, it is formaldehyde, the chemical used by morticians to embalm dead bodies.
The woman claims she became "utterly sick" when wearing her new Angels Secret Embrace and Very Sexy Extreme Me Push-Up bras. She states that the rash was "red hot to the touch, burning and itching." Roberta Ritter, 37, sued Victoria's Secret in May.
"It was the type of thing that keeps you up at night." Ritter, a cosmetic chemist and occasional Cher impersonator, sued Victoria's Secret in May, and quickly learned she was not suffering alone. A lab test of Victoria's Secret bras like hers came back positive for the presence of formaldehyde, the suit says. Her lawyer, John Climaco, has filed a motion to give Ritter's suit class-action status. He told The Post he's "been inundated with more than 200 phone calls" from victims. "It may not be something [Victoria's Secret] is specifying to be put in their bras, but somehow it's making its way into the manufacturing process," fellow attorney Dawn Chmielewski told ABC News. Victoria's Secret admitted it had complaints about its bras from "a small number" of consumers. But a spokeswoman said, "We have strict quality controls around our products, and we do not use formaldehyde in our bras."I don't know about anyone else but I have never liked V.S. bras, aside from being over-priced, they are usually uncomfortable and no matter how many times I get fitted, they never feel right. But I do have to wonder if she washed the bras before wearing them? It is a good idea to wash new undergarments before wearing them since sometimes they are covered in fire-retardent chemicals and things like that. Why did she wear the bras for so long if they were giving her welts? Doesn't this seem like another frivolous lawsuit to you?
American Idol, Kellie Pickler Jumps on the Vegetarian Bandwagon
Kellie Pickler, the former American Idol contestant has recently announced that she is now a vegetarian.
Kellie, who is a country-girl at heart had this to say:
"Most country girls do like their meat!" she goes on, "I used to eat steak rare all the time. I'd just throw it on the grill for two seconds, flip it over and it was done and everyone was like, 'That's so gross - that thing is still moving!'"
Ew, that's pretty extreme. The country-music/ American Idol isn't alone. Carrie Underwood, who is also a former Idol contestant has been crowned "world' sexiest female celebrity vegetarian" twice in the last four years. Pickler says her decision was met with initial skepticism from Underwood, but since becoming a vegetarian five months ago, Pickler says that Underwood is "proud" of her. Read more here.

It sucks to be John McCain these days. First he loses the election, no thanks to Caribou Barbie. And now, "news" about his wife's indiscreet love-affair with another man are leaked to the "press."
According to the latest issue of the Enquirer, such a respectable and reliable publication, Cindy McCain is having an affair! And they have the pictures to prove it. Albeit, the pictures are of a grainy, low-quality, the witness who snapped the photos assures the Enquirer that, it is none other than Cindy.
Here's what the witness has to say:
"I couldn't believe I was watching Cindy McCain passionately kissing and hugging another man!" That's the stunned reaction of an eyewitness who says he watched in shock - and snapped photos - as the former presidential candidate's wife romantically kissed a long-haired man who resembles "a washed-up '80s rock musician."The article goes on to say:
