Petition for our parks

Just a quick signature and you’re done!

Did you know that 95 percent of Americans claim to care about National Parks? It must be the five percent who who are leaving their beer cans and other litter behind then, right?  Our rule has always been to leave the campsite a little bit better than it was when we found it—and that rule goes for life in general, not just National Parks.

At any rate, the National Parks Conservation Association is asking that we let the candidates know that preserving our National Parks is a big deal to us and that they need to make plans on how to protect them whether they are elected or not come November—just in case. They have prepared a simple petition we can all sign to quickly tell our candidates how important these parks are to us—and that they need to make the parks part of their campaign promise right now.

In November of 2016, our National Parks will reach their centennial—and the president we elect this year will be presiding over that. Where will that leave us? It’s hard to know. That’s why we need them to commit to park preservation today. Click here to find out more and to add your signature.
